This term we have been doing chapter chat. In our reading group we have been reading fing.
I found this task easy finding the gifs and making the slides.
I found this task hard thinking of things to put in alphabetical order.

Jesse's Blog Reflection and DLO

Take a look at Jesse's learning on division. He has really mastered this method and is showing great confidence in his division. Ka pai Jess!




In the past 3 weeks we have been learning to do division with the cup method. We have been doing it lots. I am confident to do times tables because the cup method helps my learning. At the start I was pretty nervous to do the divided by's at the start when we started doing them in this class. When i got used to doing divided by's i found it a bit easier.

Chapter Chat

Over this term we have been reading a book called 'Ms Bixby's Last Day'. We have been reading this with a organisation called Chapter Chat which provides us with tasks that need to get done each week that relate to the part of the book we have read.

This week we got introduced to a man called George Nelson who stole the boys money. A task we had to do was make a wanted poster. This tested our Chromebook skills but we had heaps of fun making them. Check them out.

What I liked about making the book: I liked about making the book was that I find out information and then I right it down on my book.

What I found hard about making the book: What I found hard about making the book is finding the information for the book\making it pretty.

My NSL is to add way more detail.
My book was on the pancake rocks,it was really fun making a book.I made the book on book creator.It is really fun making books on book creator.The books that M3 was making was non fiction books.We had to pick a place in the west coast.I think most people did it in a place in Greymouth. My book was based in Punakiki
