A day with Electronet
Today we were lucky enough to have Cosmin from Electronet come in and talk to us about electricity an dhow it is generator and distributed. We were able to see a generator that he had made form a CD and also go for a walk to see a substation! Did you know that when the electricity comes into the substation it is at 64000 volts that gets changed into 11000! That's not all, when it goes through the green boxes it changes into 400 volts and then into your plug sockets. This was an amazing day with lots of learning involved. Here are a few photos.
